Posting on forums

Being a member on various forums I get to see some pretty annoying posting habits of people and 'cliques' of people. One thing that really gets my goat, and puts off a lot of new posters is thread hijacking. It's disheartening when you see it happen to new posters and really annoying when to happens to you.

Here's where it happened to me on the UK Business Forums. Seven replies to my post and not one of them referred to my post! You could have taken my original post off and not noticed the difference.

UK Business Forums have been one of the best business forums for the UK but recently it seems to have become a social chinwag place for a small group of members who deem it necessary to hijack threads seemingly at random and fill them with useless banter.

I did promise to treat myself to paid membership of UKBF at the beginning of this year but I'm so glad I didn't. Maybe if Sift, the owners of UKBF get their arse in gear I'll become a member but definitely not at the moment.
