There are loads of twitter clients for Windows/PC and Apple Mac platforms but less so for us linux users. I tend to use a Firefox add on called TwitterGadget which is installed on my iGoogle home page.
But what if you're not stuck in front of a pc? There are a number of twitter clients for mobile phones. I use on called Gravity which is one of the best installations I have ever come across for the Nokia.
