The Future of the Gurkhas?

As much as I was pleased by the UK Government's swift about turn on the issue of residency for the Gurkhas and their familes, I do wonder whether there are plans for revenge?

Given the incomptence, vindictiveness and corruption of this present lot of New Labour cronies I'm betting they'll be seeking to remove the Gurkha regiment from the British Army in the future.
