OpenOffice Dictionaries and Spell Check

Having trouble with dictionaries and spell check not working on your openoffice word document?

Yes, me too. Have been pulling my hair out about this. Have followed loads of posts doing some obscure text file editing. Turns out it's simple, but hidden. What you need to do is go to file - wizards - install new dictionaries.

That's run a script that you follow, download the dictionaries and then a quick restart and it's all sorted.

Hell of a stupid way to do it though. If KOffice was up to speed I'd be working with that instead.
